North Carolina is known for its mild weather. Raleigh is no exception. We enjoy an average annual temperature of about 60 degrees Fahrenheit, but we also have four distinct seasons. Drive three hours to the West and you are in the Blue Ridge Mountains where you can enjoy a brilliant display of color in the fall. Drive two hours to the East and you can walk the sandy beaches along the Atlantic ocean. In spring and summer, we enjoy incredible flowers and beautiful greenery. We also get an occasional snow that keeps the kids happy in winter.
